• Radon Sampling

First Flight Home Inspections, Inc. offers onsite Radon sampling for new and existing homes following EPA protocol testing procedures. An accredited laboratory is used for analysis of the samples and a written report is provided to the client upon completion of the lab testing and are usually available within 7 days. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has recommended that every home be tested for Radon. Radon is a cancer causing radioactive gas byproduct of decaying uranium. Radon seeps up from the ground into the air and it can also enter the home through well water. It is colorless and odorless and is the second leading cause of lung cancer in the United States . Dangerous levels of this gas have been identified in all 50 states, including North Carolina .
